David Bater
David has owned businesses since 1987. More importantly, he has "walked the walk". Having owned, built and sold many companies during the last 33 years.
He founded Automation Authority in 2013 after qualifying as an Infusionsoft Certified Marketing Automation Consultant.
Along the way, he has:
- worked ridiculously long hours,
- paid himself, not much more than minimum wage (if at all).
- And also, faced the challenges and felt the pain that comes (he thought naturally at the time,) with the perks of owning his own business.
But, now knows there is another way.
My Story
Automation Authority, founded in 2013 when Marketing Automation still in its infancy. Since then, many things have changed, and Marketing Automation became a necessity for any company that wants to thrive in the new competitive online World.

Infusionsoft Certified Marketing Automation Consultant
Since qualifying as an Infusionsoft Certified Consultant in 2013. his particular focus these days is on, working with small businesses. Implementing sales and marketing automation to help them achieve their goals.
He has also seen how many of their businesses are just getting by. Or, failing to live up to their potential. That’s because they haven’t “cracked” their sales and marketing.
Personal Note
On a personal note, he is married to the beautiful Nicola (she must be, putting up with him for over 40 years). They have two children, and six grand children (whom they adore and spoil rotten). He also enjoys good food, red wine, travel, sailing, walking and golf (He says only kidding himself self here).
